This corridor opens up light and bright as you come off the stairs, the hallway full of windows looking out over the entrance of the school grounds and the village of Hogsmeade off in the distance.

These stairs never do the same trick twice, but they all have some up their sleeves thanks to the Weasley's tampering with them over the years. They have seen enough damage to last a lifetime and yet keep on twirling for more.

Located opposite an enormous tapestry depicting Barnabas the Barmy's foolish attempt to train trolls for the ballet, the Room of Requirement appears only when someone is in need of it. To make it appear, one must walk past its hidden entrance three times while concentrating on what is needed. The room will then appear, outfitted with whatever is required.

The realms of the beyond aren't that far away as you descend a long spiraling staircase leading to the Divinations Department tower that branches off the seventh floor. This tower always smells of incense and tea and often the scents from above drift down to assault the senses below.

The Arithmancy Department is located on the seventh floor at the top of a winding staircase, there are several classrooms all featuring massive charts and many relic items.
