Lit only by flickering torches and the warmth can't seem to take the chill away.

The Bloody Baron was untouched by the chill of the dungeon corridor. Here was a good place to be alone for most people other than Slytherin students seemed to avoid these areas. Not even Peeves came into this area very often to cause a fuss and rightly so. The Baron would have his head for it.

He floated down the halls, silver blood shimmering in the torch light. He had no destination in mind and was enjoying the quiet.

Sebastian was walking through the dungeon corridor after having a nice encounter with Alley from Gryffindor. She had helped him get a better grasp of Runes and he was very grateful that he had a big smile on his face. However what he didn't know was that she had actually decorated him, he had green hair and a nice pink bow placed in his hair. It seemed Sebastian was once again the brunt of someone's joke the sad thing was that this time he didn't know about it, how pathetic.

Sebastian paused when he spotted something out the corner of his eye. He stopped and slowly turned into the direction of the vision.

"Who's there?"

Sebastian called out innocently.

She was returning to the common room when she ran smack into Sebastian in the corridor. He seemed to be calling out to someone else, but she didn't see anyone just at the moment. Maybe he had heard her footsteps?

"It's just me, Jack. You going loony? And what in the bloody hell is in your hair? Pink suits you, Seb."

She stared at the boy with the ribbons in his hair, stifling a laugh.

He heard some students in the corridor and stopped moving. The boy sounded a bit tentative and the young girl sounded like she was laughing at him. He went a bit closer for a better look and was appeased when he realised they were members of his own house. At least it wasn't one of his students with their silly red badges in his part of the castle.

Sebastian stumbled back when Jack smashed into him, he rubbed his chest afterwards indicating the point of impact.

"Bloody hell woman."

Seb scrunched his face up in confusion, my hair? What about my hair? he reached up and grabbed something and looked at the pink bow and scowled, he had seen a bow just like this and only moments before. That bloody Ally she had made a fool him and he didn't even know it. Sebastian's face turned bright red as he pocket the ribbon, he would certainly have to confront her about that later. Bloody Dorks!

"I'm getting in touch with my feminine side, leave me alone."

He lied.

"Where are you going?"

He asked, trying to take the focus of the conversation off himself.

She laughed when he tugged the bow from his hair and even in the torchlight she could see his face reddening. His feminine side? He was 12, he was ALL feminine side!

"If you say so, I think perhaps you need to work on your masculine side, it seems more lacking than the feminine one."

She raised a brow, smirking. Just then she spotted the Bloody Baron watching them but Seb had his back to the ghost.

"I am just headed back to the common room, how about you?"

She took a step towards the boy, hoping to back him closer to the house ghost.

He watched with some amusement as the boy pulled a bow from his hair and made a silly excuse as to how it got there. It was clear that he was the victim of some prank and was trying to cover his tracks. At least he wasn't crying about it, but then, he was a Slytherin.

Then the girl spotted him and seemed to be trying to move the boy closer to him. Less than amused with that idea, he moved away from the students and closer to one of the torches, its light seeming to shine from within him. He spoke not a word, but then, he rarely did.

Sebastian rolled his eyes and gave Jack a look that said 'is that the best you can do?' It was rather ironic that the girl with the boys name was the one giving out advice on gender. He did wonder how many times she got confused for being a boy. He suppressed a smile.

"Hey I'm heading back too, just trying to get my head around this."

He raised an Ancient Runes text book showing what he was referring to when he said 'this.' As Jack took a step forward Sebastian took a step backwards, what the? Was she trying to kiss him? Did she have an odd thing for boys with green hair and pink bows.

It was then that Sebastian noticed that they weren't alone. He sensed some movement and then an odd reflection. Sebastian froze speechless he all he did was slowly raise his arm and point to the ghost. He gulped. He remembered the Bloody Baron from Runes class.

She smirked.

"Caught on, have you? Very nice to see you, Baron."

She gave the ghost a little curtsy, knowing he liked a respectful attitude. She couldn't help but notice that he seemed to glow in the torchlight and the blood on his robes almost seemed alive even though it was silver and not red.

"Say hello, Seb."

She elbowed the boy.

He glared at the boy. Did he not realise that pointing was very rude? His parents might not have been Slytherin if they had not taught him such rudimentary manners such as pointing was not polite. He felt himself expand slightly with fury but then was quickly soothed by the manner of the girl.

She curtsied, showing proper respect. He knew he was frightening. Wasn't that part of the point? Being a Slytherin, the boy would have to toughen up a bit.

Scorpius strode with a quick pace down the dimly lit corridor, like a man on a mission. Once he got deeper in to the dungeon it was as if the walls just swallowed up what little light was thrown from the pitiful torches. Didn't his family donate enough to this decaying old school for lamp oil or more brilliant torches. For the most noble of houses, the Slytherin area seemed to get the most out of date and second hand decor. What was up with that? Scorpius withdrew his wand and gave it a sharp flick, lighting the end with a quick Lumos.... He did not lose pace with this gesture and his stone gray eyes were fixed on the darkness ahead.

It was a few more steps before he heard the sounds of voices. Who could it be? Hufflepuffs sometimes got turned around and ended up on the wrong side of the dungeon. Not like this was a giant shock, Hufflepuffs couldn't navigate their way out of a burlap sack! Scorpius gave a quick Nox... and the light of his wand was snuffed. He slid into the shadows, back pressed against the wall. He instinctively pulled up the hood on his cloak and waited, listening, seeing if he could identify who was fraternizing in a dank, damp, moldy, poorly lit hallway.

The voices floated too him and as the figures moved, he could tell that one was female, one male and younger... he could make out near a torch the hazy figure of something... someone. Squinting to narrow his vision, he could now see it was the Bloody Baron, floating there, silently as always... drops of his silvery blood dripping but never hitting the floor rather fading into oblivion. One would think that he would have run out of blood by now... but Scorpius had never taken a course in ghost entomology. Yes, entomology seemed the correct term for the study of ghosts since they were like bugs. Slimy and constantly infesting the castle.

Scorpius slid down the wall, closer to them, trying to make out their conversation. It could be mindless fodder, it most likely was. Still, he didn't know who the two chatters were. Jumping out of the shadows and scaring some Puffs sounded like a good start to the afternoon. Oh and if one peed their pants, wouldn't that be the icing on the cake? Scorpius snorted a laugh at the thought but covered his mouth when he heard himself, trying to remain undetected. For now.

Sebastian realised how rude it must look to be gawking and pointing at the Bloody Baron. As soon as he realised what he was doing he quickly dropped his arm by his side. How embarrassing, the Slytherin ghost must think he was a complete tool to behaviour in such a manner. Sebastian knew that the ghosts of Hogwarts were very traditional in their thinking and he just hoped that news of his disrespect, although unintentional, did not spread out of this corridor.

When Jack jabbed him in the side Sebastian nodded respectfully to the ghost. The last time he had seen the ghost he was tormenting some Dork in Professor Lane's class.

"Good afternoon Baron, sire."

He said, his strong British accent emphasising on the word 'sire.' It was as he nodded that Sebastian caught a reflection of himself in the Bloody Baron's silver blood and realised that his hair was green....bloody Alley.....and bloody Jack she mentioned nothing about his hair being green. He glanced sideways at his 'friend;' she thought she was so damned funny didn't she? Sebastian was too busy ruing over his green hair to hear Scorpy snorting further down the corridor.

Jack snorted when Seb noticed his hair had been coloured a lustrous green. She couldn't help but have some respect for whoever it was who had managed to do such things to him without him noticing. Had he been asleep or something? Sometimes she really doubted his intelligence.

It was a bit eerie how the Baron just sort of floated there. She wondered if he ever spoke, she certainly had never heard him speak.

"Err... Can we do anything for you, Sir?"

He just stared at the two students, not moving. He wasn't blinking, since he didn't need to as a ghost. It was a bit funny how something so simple could bother someone though. His expression unchanging, he went a bit closer to the small children. He wondered if the boy would scream or run away.

Then he spotted another boy lurking in the shadows. This ought to be interesting, especially if he jumped out and scared the other two.

Inching ever closer, Scorpius tried to recognize the two kids. The girl, red haired, had he seen her before. He closed his eyes for a second, playing faces through his mind's eye. Where did he know her from. His eyes popped open then, yes that was it... when he and some other kids were smashing the crystal balls and portraits and stuff. She was the one with the boy's name. Johnnie... Jessie... JACK! That was it! She was ok, he supposed, from the few seconds he spent with her. Then he took in the other boy and oh was he a sight! Shocking green hair and pink bows. Either he was trying to make some sort of goofy statement or just got punked. It seemed the latter was the case because the boy seemed to catch his own reflection and it just then dawned on him how silly he looked.

The third member of their little odd ball party was obviously a ghost and not just any ghost but the Slytherin house ghost, the Bloody Baron himself. Still, he was only a ghost. Scorpius could feel the Baron's eyes briefly dart his way and he knew he was detected, at least by one. Still, he knew these were housemates and not Puffles. Well that blew his torture plan to heck now didn't it. Eh, they weren't so bad, Sebastian and Jack. Maybe they could hang for a while. This was when Scorpius stepped out of the shadows, he was just outside of where the soft torchlight fell so one two three steps and now he was basked in the glow and illuminated for them to see.

Hey, is this old bloke bothering you guys?

Now he pointed to the Baron... sure he had heard Jack tell Seb to say hello and the boy obeyed. Wow it was always neat when ya had someone do whatever you told them to. Maybe it was Jack that had turned the kid's hair green, maybe he didn't do what she said. Boy she must have a temper to match that hair of her own... firey and feisty.

Sebastian stared at the ghost, WHAT? HE couldn't help it. When he inched forward towards Jack and himself Seb's immediate instinct was to shift his body weight backwards and take a few small steps away from the Ghost. Even though Seb knew all about ghosts it was still very awkward and off putting to see something float instead of walk. He looked quickly over to his side to see if Jack had noticed the Bloody Baron move towards them. However he never had time to see her reaction as Scorpy jumped out from the shadows. Sebastian's body let out a little jump in fright! Sheesh the corridor was highly populated today considering Seb usually walked past without seeing a soul.

After the shock of Scorpy's appearance Seb smiled. He really like the older student (not in THAT way, Jack) they had spent a good half an hour throwing crystal balls at various portrait paintings some weeks before. Sebastian was surprised actually he had expected the Malfoy boy to ignore younger students...just goes to show you can't base opinions on other peoples rumours.

Hey, is this old bloke bothering you guys?

Sebastian kept one eye on the Baron as he responded, he didn't know how he would handle the OLD thing as some ghosts were really touchy about it.

"Scorpius!"

He exclaimed with probably too much enthusiasm, Sebastian would just ignore any potential oddlooks from Jack.

"I don't really know what he is doing actually."

Sebastian still had one eye on the lurking ghost.

Scorpius look at the Bloody Baron, looking less bloody and more like a character from one of those Muggle black and white films. Scorps hoped that when he finally bit the big one that he didn't get stuck in this state. All washed out and void of color. Just a poor state. Sure, one could argue that they had it way better than the souls who resided in their respective paintings since they could travel around and through walls even, floating free and stretching their ghostly legs, if they still had legs. Scorpius thought the painting people had the better deal since they were for one, in color and for two could travel between paintings and therefore change their surrounds. Ghosts were confined to one single building. Lame. He heard Sebastian utter his name and he smiled at the kid. He was fun, pretty cool for firstie... even if he was sporting green hair with pink bows. Obviously pranked.

Scorpius regarded the Baron and put his finger to his lips as if he were eying a work of art. Seb pointed out the fact that he wasn't exactly sure what the ghost was doing. He was just floating there staring back at them without blinking. Yeah that was a creepy ghost thing they did. Sure, the Baron was their house ghost, but he was like, weird. You'd think the Slytherin ghost would be more into pranking and telling kids whats what... but no. He just surfed the air looking all emo. What was that all about?

Nothing to say Baron? Typical. Why don't you go drip over by the Puffie common room and make some little girls wet their pants... be useful at least instead of cluttering up the corridor.

He didn't care if he offended the ghost, he spoke the truth. What was the point of having a house ghost if he didn't do anything? It was embarrassing. Seriously.

Sebastians eyes widened as he heard Scorpy speak to the Bloody Baron in an obtrusive tone. Seb would never speak to any one like that especially a ghost, this could explain why he had green hair and pink ribbons in his hair. But then again this was Scorpy Malfoy offspring of the famous Draco Malfoy he could pretty much say anything and everyone would listen. Seb glared back at the ghost and wondered how he was going to react to Scorpy, the he stared over at Jack and wondered how long it was going to be until Jack started flirty with him. Then he spoke.

"You know Scorps I heard a rumour that the Bloody Baron and Moaning Myrtle had started a little romance....is it true?"

Sebastian usually wouldn't talk out of school like this but being around Scorps made him feel confident, this was probably a surprise to Jack whom had only ever seen Seb act like a dork.

The Bloody Baron could not believe what he was hearing. Were these students truly being disrespectful to him? What a disgrace they were, he would certainly be communicating with their Head of House.

Of course, they could just being trying to provoke him to talk and that was not likely to happen. The only person he wished to speak to wouldn't let him anywhere near her unless it was on her terms.

He looked to the girl who was down in the corridor with the ghastly boys. Would she be adding to their rudeness? He did hope one of the three of them would have some sense. Instead of giving them the satisfaction of speaking, he merely glowered at them.

Jack snickered.

"You two are ridiculous. Do you really think that is the way the way to get him to talk to you? Boys really are stupid. No offence, your bloodiness."

She shook her head at the boys, giving the Baron a slight curtsy.

Scorpius put his hands up and wiggled his fingers at the ghost. His eyes were wide in a dramatic mocking scared mask. Really, he was not scared of any ghost. They were GHOSTS. As in dead and transparent. The worst thing they could do to a student is run through them which was a weird feeling, kind of like doing a loop de loop while flying really fast. Then you would find ectoplasm in your shoes. Not like Scorpius hadn't ever had that happen to him before, he had had more than one pair of expensive shoes defiled. So if the Baron slimed him, it wouldn't be anything new. Sure, it was scary to someone who never had it happen to them before, but not to Scorpius. He had nothing to fear.

Stare all you want Baron... this is what it looks like to have flesh and bones... remember when you had flesh and bones and real blood... and actually bliked? You are bloody depressing... no pun intended.

He said, giving a little lunge at the ghost as if he meant to scare him right back. Of course he didn't come close to touching the entity. Seb made a funny! The Baron and Myrtle... who would have ever thought that! Could ghosts even... you know... and where would they... you know? In Myrtle's bathroom? Boys weren't allowed in there... even boy or man ghosts. Scorpius had the weirdest mental picture and laughed aloud. He clapped Seb on the back... that was good one. Good rumor to start for sure.

That was just soooo original.

He rolled he eyes. He smirked and crossed his arms over his chest. The girl... Jack... made it a point to say that boys were stupid. Scorpius just shook his head.

Sebastian couldn't help but giggle at Scorpy he was hilarious! He had never thought that he would be so funny, it was great when people exceeded expectations. Seb glared at The Baron and wondered what his reaction would be. He wouldn't say anything that was for sure. Exactly how long had it been since he had spoken, would he even recognise his voice any more?

"Hey Baron, I have a joke for you. What do ghosts dance to?"

After a pause. He answered.

"Soul music! Get it. Soul music...ghosts, souls..."

Sebastian laughed. Sometimes he was so funny he scared himself. He wondered if he should consider a career in magical comedy, what classes would someone take for that?

Sebastian glared at Jack, whom all of a sudden was no fun. When did that happen? He had always thought Jack was good fun. Even when she was duct taping him to a wall, she was always fun. Now she was just being, A GIRL.

"Vince is a boy and he isn't stupid."

Sebastian said knowing that his words would bite. Sebastian was one of the first people to find out that she had a huge major crush on his mentor, but it was him who proudly wore the Vincent Goyle fan club badge not her.

He was less than impressed with these boys and knew their Head of House wouldn't be either. At the very least, they should be respectful, he was their elder even if he was, well, dead. He didn't expect fear, not from Slytherins but this jovial, joking manner was ludicrous. What had happened to the proud, the cunning? These children almost seemed like they belonged in Ravenclaw with their smart mouths.

With a nod of respect towards the girl, he turned his back on them and continued down the corridor. He didn't need to waste any more time with these imbeciles.

She could not believe was she was hearing. Were they seriously making jokes at the Bloody Baron's expense? Did they not realise that the Baron would make a fantastic ally and that antagonising him was counter-productive? Clearly they did not. Shaking her head at the boys, she bit her lip. Then when Seb spoke about Vince, she send evil dagger looks his way.

"It sounds to me like you like him even more than I do! Should I step back and allow you to share your love for him? Or are you biding your time so you can declare your love for Scorpius here? I really don't understand either of you!"

With a frown, she returned the Baron's nod and watched him as he departed. She had never heard him speak and always hoped to someday. Obviously, today was not that day.

Scorpius roared with laughter at Seb's joke. Man this kid cracked him up! What a good laugh and still the Baron hadn't said a thing. It quickly became boring when someone just pretty much ignored your well placed jabs. A retort would be nice, some banter, it was all in good fun. Ah well... the attention quickly turned to Jack, or at least the poking fun did. "Vince is a boy and he isn't stupid." Scorpius' face instantly took on a look of shock and disbelief. Oh no he didn't? Oh yes he did! He pointed at Jack...

Oh buuuurrrrrnnnnnn!

He put his fist out for Seb to bump. That was a good one! Seb was on fire today! The ghost nodded to the girl and floated on his merry way. Maybe he would actually take Scorps' advice and make himself useful scaring some lame-o huffie puffies. What was the point of having a house ghost if he didn't do anything? Scorpius paid no mind after this, but turned his attention to Seb's green hair.

Dude, I'm diggin the look. House pride!

Sure it was probably a prank, looked it by Seb's reaction at seeing himself. If he ditched the ribbons and kept the green hair, he could make it as if it were his own decision to go green... maybe start a trend! That would be wicked and a complete stab the whomever did that to him.

Sebastian fist bumped Scorpy back and smiled a toothy smile. He was so excited to have him as a friend, his brothers would be so epically jealous.

Dude, I'm diggin the look. House pride!

Sebastian had totally forgotten about his hair he felt his face redder just a little bit and then he laughed it off.

"Yeah I am getting my costume ready for Slyth-o-ween."

He lied. Though if the green hair did suit then perhaps he might roll with it.

Sebastian now turned his attention to Jack, whom all of a sudden was a complete bore. He couldn't believe he would ever say those words.

"Jack loosen up. Why are you so serious all the time?"

Seb didn't know Jack that well but he did wonder what she did for fun besides picking on younger students and flirty with anything that had male genitals. Jack was an oddball and Seb didn't know why he hadn't really thought about working her out until now.

Sebastian waited for her answer and then looked over at Scopry.

"I have an idea Mr Malfoy...wouldn't it be fun if we chased The Baron all the way through the dungeons?"

He smiled a devilish smile.

She rolled her eyes at Sebastian.

"I suppose the pink bows were for Slythoween as well? I suppose they do match your pretty pink blouse."

She snickered at the younger boy, shooting a look at Malfoy. How had she ended up in the corridor with these two? She looked around and noticed that the Baron had left them and they were discussing chasing the ghost? Boys really were stupid. Well, not all boys.

"I am as loose as I need to be. I think maybe you are too loose. You're not much of a good influence either."

She shot a dirty look at the older boy, though she did wonder if she would get cursed for it.

They were going to chase him? The idea had a certain amount of merit, he hoped that they would come at a good run and be unable to stop when he went through a wall. Although he would miss it, he was sure that the girl would get a good laugh out of it. He gave a ghostly sigh. He probably needed to remember that they were only children, but he couldn't remember ever behaving so foolishly. Then again, it was a long time ago.

He sped up his pace, moving away from the students.

Scorpius stood back a bit and squinted. Was Seb really wearing a pink shirt? He could hardly tell in this dim lighting. Really it was no wonder with this poorly rated illumination that most students needed glasses. Scorpius would never wear glasses, pfft. But if he kept squinting like that the need might arise. So he stopped squinting. Who cared what color Seb's shirt was? If he was secure enough in his young manhood to wear it then so be it. For all Scorps knew, some idiot house elf could have accidentally on purpose washed a red sock with Seb's white shirts. That would suck but it was a valid explanation. He smirked at Jack now like "come on!"...

Jack we're only having a bit of fun... when did you become such a party pooper?

Jack seemed like a fun girl... but right now she was like black cloud. What was up with that? Kind of depressing to be honest. Scorpius looked down the hall at the retreating figure of the ghost. He wasn't about to chase him, Scorpius did not run, unless it was to save his own arse. All these dirty looks were making him feel... dirty. He stopped looking at Jack, she was making him feel rather uncomfortable. Instead he spoke to Seb.

Have a go if ya think you can catch him... and if you don't mind ectoplasm in your shoes.

Scorpius wiggled his toes within his shoes, being glad that they were not sitting in slime. Sure that had happened one too many times to him before. He knew better, but Seb probably didn't Everyone had to experience a ghost running through them sooner or later. It was always funny to watch happen!

Sebastian glared at Jack sometimes she was just so irritating. Were girls always so irritating? Sebastian had noticed a gradual change in Jack's behaviour lately, it seemed that ever since she started flirting with Vince that she was now more intolerant of Sebastian. Perhaps she was jealous of Seb and Vince's relationship. He wanted to tell her to shut up but he couldn't. Sebastian raised his eyebrows as Scorpy called Jack a party pooper, Seb agreed of course.

Have a go if ya think you can catch him... and if you don't mind ectoplasm in your shoes.

To be honest Sebastian was a little disappointed that Scorps didn't want to chase the ghost with him, it probably did go against his image and considering his image was very important to him Seb could understand why he didn't want to run.

"Ectoplasm doesn't scare me, I'm wearing a pink shirt for Christ's sake."

He joked. Sebastian looked ahead and he could see the light reflecting through the Bloody Baron as he sped away. He smirked back at Scorpy and Jack and spoke.

"Fine, I will go by myself."

And then Sebastian speed off after the ghost leaving Scorpy and Jack behind.

Stomping quickly down the dungeon staircase and through five or six corridors Alex didn't even bother to stop she had heard Edward gaining on her and could even now hear his footsteps following her down the corridor. She was moving pretty quickly though shedding the mud she had on her pants and the hem of her robe as she went until she got caught up in a giant spiderweb spanning across the entire corridor she was in. She should have noticed it, but int he dim flickering of the candle light she hadn't seen a thing. Even now she could barely see a glistening of web here and there and she was stuck int he flipping things. AGH, could this day get any worse!! Screaming she started flailing and wiping at her arms and face trying to get the webs off.

Following Alex up to the castle Edward stayed a discreet distance behind her trying to rid himself of a majority of mud and dirt before entering it and failing miserably, so leaving his dirt trail he followed her down the corridor. When he heard her frustrated screaming fit he caught up to her only to see her waving her arms and generally flipping out like a psycho once more. Shaking his head he moved forward to catch up to her and reached out trying to calm her, and got himself entangled in a spiderweb. Now he figured he got the frustrated screaming and batting because he was fixing to embark on his own screaming and batting of spiderwebs fit. Could you make this a more annoying and infuriating day? He asked her in exasperation as he yanked webs off his collar.

As Edward got caught up in a web as well, Alex stopped for a moment in her frantic flinging of spider webs to watch him smiling slightly as she did so then resuming the spider web removal in a much more dignified fashion. I didn't make it anything, you followed me, after ticking me off, so guess what this is your own fault if you hadn't come chasing after me, you'd be completely fine. She pulled a web out of her hair and flung it watching as it caught on one of the flickering candle holders on the wall. Her anger cooled as she watched Edward fight the webs off she almost felt, normalish.

Rolling his eyes he threw his own ball of spider webs into the floor and pulled another clump of web off of his tie before even bothering to speak. Yeah yeah, I followed you for a reason Alex we're not done talking just because we let our anger get into the way of a proper discussion, and now spiderwebs. Ack. he pulled some more off of his cheek and then caught Alex's hand for a moment and took some off of the shoulder of her robe. This is so ridiculous, once we get these webs off, we're sitting down and talking, no questions about it, we need to talk like it or not I need to know what happened this summer, we've put it off long enough.

Fine. Was all she had to say to that she frowned in annoyance and looked over at him, frowning even further as he paused her frantic brushing of webs to pull one from her shoulder. She yanked the last of the web off of the hem of her robes and threw it into the floor frowning at the messy pile of broken spider webs laying there now. I'm all done and cleaned up now, so... She looked over and saw Edward was clean as well except a bit of spiderweb hanging off his ear reaching forward she yanked it off too. Let's talk.

Edward allowed her to pull the web off of his ear and then frowned when she decided they would just talk, right then and there. Frowning he shook his head, but he just agreed to it. Yes, we need to talk, but before you say anything your gonna tell me everything and then you can get mad afterwards, not while you do it, agreed. He clamped down on his surge of anger over being dumped in the mud, and told himself he was going to follow through on this, he was going to not get angry as well and she would tell him everything. His determination had better help him in the end of this or he was going to hit someone.

Alex shook her head and leaned against the wall sliding down it and sitting with her legs crossed. I said fine already, not going to keep repeating it.She watched him waiting for him to sit down and nudging the spiderweb pile off away from her by kicking it down the corridor with her foot. Well aren't you going to sit down, relax, pull up a chair, I dunno, something besides stand there? She raised her brows questioningly and looked up at him in annoyance crossing her arms over her chest as she waited on him to take a seat.

He shook his head and leaned against the wall slowly sliding down it as she had but leaving his legs sprawled out in front of him as he did so. Well I was getting there, could you chill for once, just start telling me what happened I have tons of blank spots I remember classes, we got told to come to detention and I remember arriving and nothing else. I remember Ivy...and yeah. And I remember being hit by something down by the lake and now here we are tied together. So fill in the blanks Alex. She looked over at her a bare glance and waited for her to begin.

Rolling her eyes at his annoyed tone and hurried explanation of what he did and did not remember Alex sighed and tried to figure out exactly where she should begin with everything. Well we got the detention and you came to it and, that is when the torture thing happened, I'm not sure what or why the professor decided it was going to happen, but he did it. you did miss out on something fantastic though Professor Kane came into class during the last lesson, it was exactly what O'Conner deserved. She took a moment and grinned at the memory looking over before asking, Following so far or need more details?

Sighing he thought about what he was about to say next, he knew it was probably what she was desperately hoping not to hear, but he had to ask her and he needed to know the truth. What exactly, went on at this torture, all the details, leave nothing out please, I know it is going to suck to tell me, but I need to know Alex, all of it. He fixed her with his gaze, trying to keep his face as impassive as possible, to keep the situation as neutral as possible he refrained from touching her, and just waited patiently for her to speak.

Alex watched as Edward took it all in, thinking it over and thinking of what he was going to ask, she was deathly afraid he would ask something she had no answer to. In the end he asked her something she did not want to have the answer to, what exactly had happened during the torture the one thing she was trying her utmost to forget and move on from was the one thing he wanted to know about. Really, do we have to do that or can we wait until I tell you the rest of it, because right now being tortured in front of a crowd of my friends and some professors is not something I am up to rehash with glee? She asked him trying to make a joke out of it, or to lighten the mood, but somehow she felt it had failed epicly.

As she spoke trying to avoid answering his question he leaned his head against the wall closing his eyes and weighing the options he had here. He could push her into telling him right now and risk messing it all up a bit, or he could just let her move on and then bring it up again at the end. He chose the second option. Go ahead, but we're going o have to come back to it Alex, I need to know, you have to understand that I have to know this. He looked over at her out of the corner of his eye as he interjected a note of pleading into his voice.

Sighing Alex nodded in mute agreement and looked down at her hands trying to remember where they had left off in the entire memory gaps situation. She decided not to comment on the Ivy situation, because that entire debacle just ticked her off soundly, more like infuriated her to no end. And well the entire thing by the lake was I had asked you to come talk and you had agreed, but when you got there O'Conner and some woman were there, and it, well it ended badly. The woman went kind of maniacal and was trying to show O'Conner something not sure what exactly, she twisted us and bound our souls with magic. I ended up unconscious for days and you were gone when I woke up. End of story here we are. She shrugged and looked over waiting for whatever he had to say next.

Listening silently Edward tried to take it all in, giving Alex the opportunity to say as much or as little as she wanted to without pushing her for more details or trying to get anything out of her she didn't want to tell him. It was honestly taxing on his patience, when he wanted so many little details and had so much he didn't remember or that he only remembers bits and pieces of, the torture was one of those bits and pieces things. He remembered doing it kind of in flashes, but not details or even why he had done it. This was what he wanted to know now, the details of things and reasoning. Okay so...why did I torture you, I remember bits of doing it, but why? He spoke slowly with a look of confusion covering his face.

Groaning inwardly and out Alex shot him a dark look, glowering at him as she tried to decide how to answer his question. She spoke slowly, hesitantly as she made up her mind and tried explaining as best she could. Well the fact is, I really, don't know...I was already pretty incoherent by the time you gave in and...some people say you were Imperioed, but no one was close enough to see, not even the other professors and, well I just have no idea really. I want to know that one myself. She finished slowly and just sat there her hands folded in her lap trying to figure out what else she could say or do to explain it to him.

Listening in silence once more Edward took it all in and rubbed his temples, getting a slight headache and feeling extremely hungry, he realized then that they had both kind of missed out on lunch out by the swamp and again down here. So he was feeling his own hunger magnified and made worse by Alex's, well that wasn't exactly very helpful, he pushed himself up from the floor and leaned against the wall looking down at Alex, Come on we need to eat or we're going to make each other miserable by not being able to block out the other's hunger and starving ourselves. Let's go to the Great Hall and grab some lunch. He held his hand out to help her up, waiting for her to agree to come along or tell him to bugger off.

When Edward pushed up off the wall she rolled her eyes, but really couldn't deny how much she was wanting something to eat. being bound to him might turn out to be an incredible annoyance and even more incredible pain, but int he end she had to admit he was right. She got up slowly not taking the hand he had offered, just brushing it aside and moving forward down the corridor back the way she had come from so she could get to the stairs. Can we skip the rest of this talk until after lunch? Please? She interjected a wheedling tone into her voice and tried to look as innocent and malnourished as possible so he might consider her eating more important than lecturing or her answering questions about this summer.

She pushed his hand off and he just shrugged and watched her stand keeping pace with her as she went down the corridor and towards the stairs. He just nodded in agreement when she asked if everything could wait until they had eaten. yeah, I'm fine with that you can tell me exactly what you felt the need to go to my brother for? Or to go tell him, because no matter what else was going on Conner is always going to try and turn you against me. He shook his head wishing Alex could see and understand that, but she couldn't and didn't it was infuriating. They hit the stairs then and left to go up to the Great hall.

Dugeon was one of the place were Angela had not visited in Hogwarts. So she went to Dungeon corridor. She was untouched by its chill.

As she entered, she felt cold. Dugeon differs in many ways from other parts of Hogwarts. It was cold and even darker.

Angela find herself to be lonely. She had no destination in mind and was enjoying the quiet.
