Jason found himself sitting in an empty classroom on the fourth. The headmaster had asked him to host an activity for the students to keep them occupied while classes are not in session, and as Jason's specialty was Arithmancy, he knew he could find something interesting for the students. Jason felt arithmancy was one of the fun subjects that Hogwarts had, and he hoped the students that showed up today would agree. He had just recently been made the Department Chair for the Arithmancy Department here at Hogwarts, and Jason had rewritten the entire department's lesson plans, with intentions of making the lessons much more fun than they had been before, knowing that if he did it right, kids would see the same delight in arithmancy as he did. He leaned back in his chair as he waited for students to arrive, if any did decide to show up in the first place. He fumbled around with the ring that sat upon his right hand as he waited with high hopes.

Arithmancy was the one subject Alexia had always found difficult so when an extra little lesson on it was going to be offered she figured why not try it out. She moved into the empty classroom where they had been told to meet up and almost fell over as she bumped into a table, her klutzy side had been coming out full force since she had stumbled into that girl in the squash patch earlier in the day. Ooof. She stepped back and brushed off the table almost apologetically and avoided looking over at the professor who was already waiting in the room for people. She didn't want to make a fool of herself in front of a professor, but it usually happened without her trying to, she had too many accidents usually to even go unnoticed in a room let alone be considered a good student.

Jason had to stifle a laugh as he looked up and saw an older girl bump into a table as she entered the classroom. Being the outgoing, talkative man that Jason was, he addressed her with a smile. "Good Morning, Miss Tarabotti." Jason spoke in a pleasant tone, rather delighted to see his first student walk in, and one that he knew at that; he remembered having her in a few of his classes over the years. He also figured that if he was going to have to wait around for students to arrive, he had might as well make use of his time chatting with the students that had already arrived, something Jason was rather known for as keeping quiet was not his strong suit.

Tori rushed towards the class really hoping to get there on time. It wasn't like it was a class though, more like an activity like the herbology one. She had been excited that the school was running things like this, it made her happy. She looked around for a moment before taking her seat near the back of the school and gave the group a little wave.

Josh strolled through the halls, making his way to the classroom. He saw that Professor Noble would be doing a class on Arithmancy, a subject which he didn't particularly enjoy but gave it a go. He wasn't the greatest with numbers, heck he wasn't that great at maths growing up in the Muggle world. He would definitely need magic, or a miracle, to do well in this class. He made his way into the classroom, seeing a few students already there. Josh sat by an empty desk in the middle of the room. Not too far to the front that he looked too eager but not too far from the back so that he couldn't pay attention. He took his trusted notebook out and began writing in it, as he normally did before lessons began.

Uhm, Hi professor, sorry I didn't mean to disturb anything...just...well...yeah... She trailed off, most of the professors knew she was a walking disaster already there was no real need to explain it, but she wasn't really used to any of them being anything but annoyed by it. She sat down in the front kind of to the right of the professor and turned sideways on the stool there to watch the other students come in. A couple of Gryffindors walked in, neither of which she really knew, she had seen them at a couple of the other activities, however she was not really able to remember their names, she doubted she had talked to either of them as they looked much younger than her, and she usually didn't end up dealing with the younger students very much. Alexia pulled a sketchbook out of her robe, and a set of pencils and started drawing a flower, not really feeling like drawing anymore attention to herself than she already had.

((Sorry for it being so long, I was hoping to get a bit more students in here before starting but I'm going to give it another 24 hours and see if I can get some more in here and then we'll start the lesson. http://l.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mesg/emoticons7/1.gif ))

"It's quite alright." He said to Alexia as she apologized for running into the desk.Jason watched as a few other students made there way in, nodding to each of them as they took their seats. He was really hoping that more than three students would show up, but something told him the chances of that were slim. Not many students enjoyed Arithmancy and since these classes weren't mandatory, most students wouldn't even consider coming to them. He looked to the clock, seeing that it hadn't been as long as he thought it had, he figured he would wait another 5 minutes and then start the lesson.

Having just finished a late lunch Klaus walked down to the empty classroom where the Arithmancy activity was going to be held, he was not a fan of numbers he liked more artistic work and things; but he figured he would give it a shot and maybe he would enjoy it and end up enrolling in a class for ti when the term started. Entering the classroom he smiled brightly at the Gryffindor students already there, Hey! Hi Josh, Hi Satori, I'm glad to see you guys here, was afraid I'd be the only one from our house. He smiled as he slid his book bag down onto the desk and took a seat next to them and near the older Hufflepuff, he had seen her in some other lessons and met her around before now, but he always forgot her name.
